You don’t start at level one.

Sable asks which characters you already read, then builds only around what’s missing.

02 — New characters

Nothing arrives cold.

Every new character shows up inside a word you’ve said your whole life. You knew 电话 long before you knew 电.

03 — Sound before shape

You already own half of it.

Reading is joining a sound you have to a shape you don’t. That’s the only thing Sable drills — and you pick it, never spell it.

04 — When the help goes

Then it takes the sound away.

If the sentence alone brings the character back, it’s yours. That’s the moment reading starts.
